Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC (born on March 4 1954) is a Canadian-American actor and comedian. O'Hara has received a variety of awards, including the Genie Award, a Golden Globe Award and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. She also won two Primetime Emmy Awards and six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018, she was appointed as an Officer of Canada. She was also awarded the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Medal in 2020. O'Hara made her name as an actress as a member in 1974 of The Second City, an improvisational comedy troupe based in Toronto. She was a part of the principal cast on the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978) along with John Candy and Dan Aykroyd. The following year, O'Hara and Candy began work on the sketch comedy show Second City Television (1976-1984) and she earned praise from critics for her work as a comedic actor and writer. She was awarded an Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series in 1981. O'Hara joined the Second City artistic advisory board in 2022.
